Bustleton Radiology has the distinction of serving Northeast Philadelphia since 1960. Founded by Dr. Anthony G.B. Borden, a pioneer in mammography, Bustleton Radiology has grown into a full-modality practice. Our highly skilled, board certified radiologists are on-site and available for consultations. We also have an affiliation with a renowned neuroradiologist for specialized readings. In addition, our staff consists of experienced technicians who are certified and registered in their respective modalities, including general radiography, mammography, CT scan, ultrasound abdomen, ultrasound ob/gyn, ultrasound vascular, nuclear medicine and MRI. Our entire clinical staff receives continuing education in their fields and in OSHA requirements and they are CPR-certified on an annual basis.
Our Doctors
Anthony J. Limberakis, M.D., is President and CEO of Bustleton Radiology Associates, Ltd., and a board certified radiologist. Dr. Limberakis graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with honors, obtaining his B.A. and Masters degrees in four years. He received his medical education at Duke University School of Medicine which is among the first medical schools in the nation. He was a student leader at the school and was elected president of his class. He continues his association with Duke University Medical Center where he has been President of the Medical Alumni Association, currently serves as a member of its Board of Visitors, and has received a number of awards.
Dr. Limberakis was an intern in internal medicine at the Graduate Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania before entering his radiology residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. While at Jefferson, he served as Chief Resident. Dr. Limberakis has written a number of scientific articles in radiology.
Dr. Limberakis is an active member of his local and national church and has been recognized for his charitable and community service. He was awarded the Ellis Island Medal of Honor and has received an honorary doctorate from Hellenic College in Brookline, MA.

Michael Nalbantian, M.D.

Michael Nalbantian, M.D., joined Bustleton Radiology Associates, Ltd., in 1996 as a full time radiologist. He is board certified by the American Board of Radiology and is also a diplomate of the American Board of Nuclear Medicine. Dr. Nalbantian graduated from the College De La Salle in Cairo, Egypt and received his medical degree from the Faculty of Medicine, Alexandria University, in Egypt.
Dr. Nalbantian completed a rotating internship at Nazareth Hospital in Philadelphia and completed his radiology residency at Mercy Catholic Medical Center. After completing his residency training he became an Associate radiologist at Northeastern Hospital and later held the position of Radiologist/Chairman at Northeastern Hospital, Philadelphia for 12 years before joining Bustleton Radiology.
Dr. Nalbantian is a member of a wide range of national and local professional societies including the American Medical Association, the American College of Radiology, The Radiological Society of North America, the Pennsylvania Radiological Society and the Philadelphia County Medical Society, among others.
